Eliza was still at home with her parents in Lambton County in 1861.[1] In 1864, she married William Sicklesteel across the river in St. Clair County, Michigan. For some reason, she used her mother's maiden name when she married.[2] By 1870 they were living in Tallmadge Township in Ottawa County, Michigan. They had three children and there was a nine year old boy named Benjamin Cockle living with them as well.[3] Eliza's father and mother were living next door.[4]
Eliza was back in Norfolk County when she died in 1921.[5]
