This Sticker is for use on profiles of descendants of Palatine migrants. "Palatine migrants" were German-speaking people usually called "Palatine Germans" or "Palatines," who emigrated from their homelands and settled in North America, Ireland and elsewhere in the 18th century, prior to the American Revolution. The earliest Palatine migrants were the "Poor Palatines," many of them from the Electoral Palatinate region of Germany, who went to England in 1709. See Project:Palatine Migration for more information.
