Biography

• Elizabeth Templeton was born about 1832^[1] in Co. Antrim, Ireland. She was the daughter of Archibald Templeton^[2] and his wife Olive Rainey.
• John Doole married Elizabeth Templeton on 11 April 1857 in Ballymena, Co. Antrim^[2].
• John and Elizabeth had at least five children between 1859 and 1875: James, Henry, Olivia Ann, WIlliam and John. The earlier children were born in Gillistown, Co. Antrim and the later children were born in Ardnaglass, Co. Antrim.
• In the 1901 Ireland census Lizzie Doole was age 60, living at Gillistown, Grange of Ballyscullion, Co. Antrim. Living with her were her husband John Doole (62), a farmer and unmarried son John Doole (20)^[3].
• In the 1911 Ireland census Lizzie Doole was age 76, living at Gillistown, Grange of Ballyscullion, Co. Antrim, with her son John Doole (31), a farmer, and John's wife Maggie Doole (32)^[4].
• Elizabeth Doole died in 1919 age 86 at Gillistown, Grange of Ballyscullion, Co. Antrim^[1]. Her death was registered by her son John Doole.
