Biography

Rev. Amos Tenney, born in Acton, Mass., 19 Oct., 1783, son of Amos and Mary Caffin; married 1 Jan 1805, Olive Gilbert, who was born in Littleton, Mass. in 1779, and died 10 Sep 1865. He was of the Methodist Episcopal church. Residence, hancock, Langdon, and Marlow N. H., where he preached the Sabbath preceding his death, which occured 15 Nov. 1843
