Mary married Samuel Northrup Castle, the widower of her late sister, Angeline Tenney, on 13 October 1842 in West Exeter, New York.[2][3] Their children were:[2]
In the 1900 census Mary (age 80) was the widowed head of household in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii Territory.[4] She was the mother of 10 children and 9 were still living. She was listed with two of her children and a boarder.
She passed away on 13 Mar 1907 in Honolulu.[1][3][5] She was buried in Mission Cemetery, Honolulu.[6] Mentioned in her will dated 1903 were:[7]
