Biography
William Tenney, son of William, born May 16, 1772. [1] He married June 7, 1797. Betty, (daughter of Deacon Silas and Abigail (Houghton) Fife.) [2] She died June 22, 1821 and he married 2nd Nov 29, 1821, Betsey Lewis (born Aug 16, 1804, died Jan 7, 1861). Mr Tenney lived on the farm now owned by Samuel O. Pope. He was a shoemaker and worked at that trade when not engaged in farming, He died Dec 2,, 1867. He had four children.[3]
