Samuel Ramsey Porter was born on April 29, 1969, in Norristown, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Samuel Ramsey Porter and Lois Lee Absher. He married Melissa Karcauskas in 1992 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. They had one child during their marriage. He died on July 28, 2017, in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 48, and was buried there.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 7 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Rd., Orlando.
