Sub-Lieutenant, Royal Navy. He joined the Royal Navy in 1911 and was killed in action when his ship H.M.T.B.D (His Majesty's Torpedo Boat Destroyer) "Viking", struck a mine in the English Channel. Died aged 19 years.
