(Possible conflation in marriage(s) - overlap) She married John Ragland in 1764, and he died in 1770.[4] She then supposedly married Shirley Tisdale December 24, 1770 in St Martins Parish, Lousia County, Virginia(?)[5]
The marriage to Tisdale was likely a different Ursula, as she was not only still married, (unless she ran away with Tisdale), but her orphaned children were put under the guardianship of Samuel Ragland upon husband John Ragland's untimely death in 1774.[6]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Ursula by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Ursula:
There appears to be a possible conflation here - Ursula is married to two different men at the same time - John Ragland did not die until 1774, while Ursula, his wife, bore Sarah Ragland in 1770, the same year she also married Shirley Tisdale (?!)
