Topeka State Journal, Thurs. 1 July,1971,pg. 11: DeWitt C. Terrill, 68, Topeka, died early today at a Topeka hospital. He had cancer. He was born April 27, 1903 in Topeka and resided in Topeka until moving to Gary, Ind. for several years. He returned to Topeka about 3 years ago. He was a security guard at Security Benefit Life Insurance Co. building until illness forced him into retirement.
