John Terrill was born around 1804 in either Camborne or Redruth, Cornwall, England. He was a tin miner. He married Eliza Ivey 10 Jan 1826 in Redruth, Cornwall. [1] By the time of the 1841 census, his wife Eliza was listed as the head of household [2] so he probably died before then.

May have been born 19 Feb 1804, father Thomas and mother Catherine (Ancestry.com. England, Select Births and Christenings, 1538-1975 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations, Inc., 2014.) BUT this shows birth in Redruth.
1841 census lists wife Eliza as head of household, so he probably died before then.
