The death occurred at the Grafton District Hospital on Wednesday night of Mr. Matthew George Terry, a native of Cangai, and a wellknown identity of the Clarence River district. Deceased, who was 78 years, of age, had been in ill-health for some considerable time.

He is survived by three brothers, and four sisters, namely, Messrs. Jack Terry (Perth), William Terry (Sydney), Freeman Terry (Tent Hill, Glen Innes), and Mesdames J. Bannon (Grafton), R. Tipper (Chatswood), S. Ashton (N. Sydney) and J. Darcy (Grafton). ^[4]
