Biography

David was born in 1810. He was the son of Benjamin Terry and Elizabeth Lepard. He married Ann Grose on 18 March 1832 in Home District, Ontario, Canada.[1]

Appeared in the 1851 Canada Census in East Gwillimbury, York, Ontario. The household included: David age 43, occupation farmer; Ann age 42; John age 20; Jane age 18; Stephen age 15; Benjamin age 9; Elizabeth age 6; Grace age 3.

Appeared in the 1861 Canada Census in East Gwillimbury, York, Ontario. The household included: David age 51, occupation farmer; Ann age 51; Stephen age 24, occupation labourer; Benjamin age 18, occupation labourer; Elizabeth age 15; Grace age 13.

Appeared in the 1871 Canada Census in East Gwillimbury, York, Ontario. The household included: David age 60, occupation gentleman; Ann age 62; Benjamin age 27, occupation farmer; Grace age 22.

David died on 5 March 1879 and was buried in Hartman Cemetery, Mount Albert, York Regional Municipality, Ontario, Canada.[2]
