Francois, the son of Jacques Tessier and Marguerite Suret was born 25 March 1773 and baptized the following day in Châteauguay. The Saint Joachim parish register identifies him as "un garçon né la veille de mariage de Jacques Tessier et de Marguerite Surette; lequel a été nommé François par Amand Hebert et par Marie Agathe Hebert."[1][2]
Marriage
On 21 July 1794, he married Marie Angélique Gendron in Saint-Joachim-de-Chateauguay, Châteauguay, Bas-Canada. The parish register states only that the marriage was between "François Tessier et Angelique Jeandron . . . étaient present Joachim Jandron, Joseph Jandron, Jacques Thessier et François Thessier"[3]
Death
François died prior to 1856, since at the time of her death, Marie Angélique was a widow.
