Some detail entered as per the rec all and knowledge of his nephew, Michael Pavilaitis and thru interviews with his daughter, Debra (Tessier) Powell.

BIRTH:

Leo was born May 31, 1934 in Leominster, Worcester, Massachusetts to parents, Leo George Tessier and Dorothy Mae Hatstat.

EMPLOYMENT:

He worked at Leominster Ice Company briefly and then spent a long career working for the City of Leominster Water Department.

MARRIAGE:

He married Jean Bagley of Leominster.

CENSUS':

The 1940 US Census of Leominster, Worcester, Massachusetts finds this Leo Jr. at the age of 5yrs old and given as born in Massachusetts. He is living there in Leominster at 4 Allen Court with his 28yr old father, Leo Tessier, his 23yr old mother, Dorothy and his four siblings; 7yr old Lorraine, 4yr old Donald, 3yr old Marylou and 4-month old, John, (John's age is difficult to decipher and may be something else).[1]

The 1950 US Census of Leominster, Worcester, Massachusetts finds this Leo G. Jr., at the age of 15yrs old and given as born in Massachusetts. He is living there in Leominster on Leominster Blvd., (near Lake Samoset and Overlook Drive), with his 38yr old father, Leo G. Tessier, his 33yr old mother, Dorothy M. and his six surviving siblings; 17yr old Lorraine A., 14yr old Donald E., 13yr old Marylou E., 9yr old Penelope H., 4yr old Bernadette and 2yr old Peter.[2]

MILITARY-TYPE RECORDS:

He was a Korean War era veteran of the U.S. Navy. He served on a naval vessel that at the very least was stationed in Cuba and was exposed to US Nuclear Testing.

DEATH:

He died October 4, 2017 in Leominster, Worcester, Massachusetts.[3]
