Birth 25 Oct 1734[1][2][3]

Marriage to Sarah Dunn 30 Oct 1758[4][5] Note: 10th month is December when converting from old style date to Gregorian calendar.

Benjamin, secondly. married Elizabeth (Sloan) Thackery, widdow of Stephen Thackery (abt.1736-1767) on 14 Dec 1779[8].

  1. The Quaker record reports the birth on 8th mo. 14th da 1734. By the modern calendar this translates to 25 Oct 1734. The 8th month was October, add eleven days to bring the old Julian Calendar inline with the seasons and the result is 25 Oct 1734.
