Biography
Marcy was born about 1734. She is the daughter of Thomas Thames. She passed away in 1816.
When she wrote her will, she wrote her name "Mercy," including her signature.[1]
The Bible record of Marcy and her husband James Jackson is available at NC Digital Collections[2] The Bible records her death and the person who recorded it wrote her name as "Massy."
