Research Notes

Adams-16917 14:21, 22 May 2016 (EDT) 16 Oct 1750 , given as his dob, is EXACT date of LWT [New Jersey Abstract of Wills, p481] of Solomon Thorp, Woodbridge, NJ w/widow a Hannah! but she was not Hannah TATE who was a Quaker from PA who married out of the faith to Solomon Tharp born in Delaware.

There are 2 imaged memorials for "Solomon Tharp" said to be in the same cemetery on Findagrave : Reames-Norton Cemetery, Cass County Michigan, USA

[#18073733, b. Oct. 16, 1750, d. Aug. 6, 1849;
[#83958396, b. Oct., 1811, d. Aug. 26, 1847}. The latter with birth of 1811 was obviously not the Rev War soldier.

Tharp-563 and Tharp-293 appear to represent the same person because: There were not brothers Solomon and Solomon Tharp
