Descendant of Mayflower passengers John Alden and William Mullins.

Stillman was born in 1827 in Weymouth, Massachusetts, the son of Stillman Thayer and Mary Ann Pratt.[1] He passed away about 1871.

He and his wife, Harriet Abbott, had 6 children.
