Joseph was born on July 25, 1866, in Caraquet, to Luc Theriault and Véronique Theriault. He was baptised on August 19, 1866. His godparents were Timothée Thériault and Judith Thériault.[1]
Joseph married twice, first (1) to Marie Godin (no further info at this time) and then (2) to Mathilda Thériault (Placide and Marguerite Thériault), on August 10, 1915[1][2][3][4]
