Philomène Theriault was born and baptized on 21 Sep 1839 in Saint-Jean-Baptiste-de-l'Isle-Verte parish in Rivière-du-Loup. She was the daughter of Antoine Theriault and Marie Langlais. Godparents at Philomène's baptism were Hyacinthe Ouellet and Thaline Theriault. At age 19 Philomène married Cyrille Roy dit Desjardins on 10 May 1859 in Sainte-Luce parish in Frenchville, Aroostook, Maine. Philomène died at age 55 on 29 Nov 1894 in Fort Kent, Aroostook, Maine.
