Through her brother and sister-in-law, she met Stephen E. Choquette. They were wed on April 12, 1947 in Holyoke. Together, they had eight children, Stephen H., Gary, Barry, Glenn, Dean, Francis, Scott and an unnamed baby girl. She was a wonderful grandmother to her eight grandchildren, Laurie, Amy, Kristen, Sheena, Cindy, Mandy, Scotty and Paige. She loved her family with all her heart, and would do anything for anyone, even though she didn't have much herself! She was welcomed into Heaven by her husband, who died in 1992, her two sons, Gary and Francis, her daughter and grandsons Jeffrey and Ryan and a great granddaughter, Marianna. She has already left a great void as the matriarch of the family, and she will forever be missed.

He was born in California in 1923, he was the first child of Stephen Salem and Ora Mae (Garrison) Choquette. They moved to California where he was joined by two sisters. He lived there until he was a few years old. After his mom died, he moved back to Massachusetts where he met my grandmother, Lorraine Theriault. They married on April 12, 1947. They had 8 children all together. Stephen Howard, Gary Allen, Barry Craig, Glenn Reid, Dean Brian, Francis Xavier, Scott Allen and an unnamed baby girl, who was stillborn. Sadly, Gary and Francis were both diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at birth and Gary died in 1952 and Francis in 1959. He was a great dad. He was often found taking the neighborhood kids to the local park after working 12 hours himself. He loved life and whenever I seen him, he always was in a good mood. He was a veteran of World War II. He died from complications of diabetes and emphasema. I know that he's in Heaven, and finally at peace and out of pain. May he rest in peace forever! I love you Grandpa!
