Biography

Pierre was born about 1684 to Claude Thériot and Marie Gautrot.

In 1686, at Port Royal, Pierre, aged 2, was living with his parents, Claude TERRIOT [sic], aged 49, and Marie GOTRO [sic], aged 49, and his seven siblings: Jean, aged 18, Anne, aged 14, Jeanne, aged 12, Claude, aged 8, Marie, aged 7, Magdelaine [sic], aged 5, and Elisabet [sic], aged 1. The family owned 1 gun and was living on 13 arpents of cultivable land with 8 cattle and 6 sheep.^[1]
