Biography

Emilienne Tibaudauxor Émelie Thibodeau was born about 1716-1719 in Cobequid, Acadie. The year 1719 is estimated based on her age, 44, at the time of her death, February 14, 1759, Saint-Malo, France.[1] She was the daughter of Philippe Thibeaudeau and Elisabeth Vincent.
She married (1) Paul Doueron, son of Noel Doueron and Marie Henry 23 Sept 1732 at Saint Charles des Mines, Grand-Pré, Acadia.[2][3]
Émelie Thibodeau married (2) Francois Bourg in 1746.[4][3]
Émelie Thibodeau was deported with her husband Francois Bourg, their four children, and two other Bourg children to France. She is listed with her family on the passenger list of the five English ships that disembarked at Saint-Malo on January 23, 1759.[5]

Thibodeau-1403 and Thibodeau-72 appear to represent the same person because: DGFA p. 520 shows that Émilienne Thibodeau, daughter of Philippe and Isabelle Vincent. was married to Pierre Doiron and

p. 243 that she later married François Bourg, widower of Marguerite Hébert.
