Jean Baptiste Thibaudault was born October 5, 1723, in Port Royal, Acadia, to parents Michel Thibodeau and Agnes Marie Dugas, daughter of Charles and of Marie Landry. He was baptized at birth by François Michel and ceremonies took place 17 Oct 1723 at Port Royal. His godparents were François Forest and Marguerite Bourgois, daughter of Guillaume Bourgois.[1][2][3]
