Biography
Carmelite Thibodeaux is a descendant of an Acadian
Carmelite Thibodeaux, daughter of Joseph Marie Thibodeau and Perrine Madeleine Arsement, was born 2 August 1800 in Assumption Parish, Louisiana, and baptized at present-day Plattenville on 10 September 1800.[1]
Carmelite married Jean Baptiste Bourg, son of Pierre Jean Bourg and Madeleine Rose Pitre, on 18 April 1825 in Thibodaux, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana.[2]
