Phoebe was born on 1 Aug 1900 in Sydenham Township, Grey County, Ontario, Canada.[1] She was the daughter of Walter Thistle and Elizabeth Sheil. She passed away about 1964.
Phoebe lived in Sydenham township[2] and in the town of Owen Sound[3] with her family while growing up until at least 1911, when she was still going to school, and probably up until she was married in 1919.
John Alexander Willcock, bookkeeper, son of James Willcock and Mary Jane Murphy, married Phoebe Alberta Thistle, daughter of William B Thistle and Elizabeth Sheil, on 30 Apr 1919 in Owen Sound, Ontario.[4]. The witnesses were Garoon R. Flemming and Mary Wilcock, both of Toronto.
Phoebe died in 1964 and is buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, in Toronto, Ontario.[5]
