The Reverend John Hamilton Thom was an Irish Unitarian minister.
He was born in 1808 in Newry, Ireland.
In 1829, he became the minister of the Ancient Chapel of Toxteth, Park Road, Toxteth, Liverpool, Lancashire, England. This chapel is a Grade I listed building in the National Heritage List for England. [1]
From 1831 to 1854 and from 1857 to 1867 he was the minister of the Renshaw Street Unitarian Chapel, Renshaw Street, Liverpool. [2]
In 1838, he married Hannah Mary Rathbone in the Renshaw Street Chapel.
He was the author of various theological works, including Laws of Life after the Mind of Christ. [3]
