Biography

Harriet “Grannie” T. Johnston, 88, of East Limestone died surrounded by her family at Huntsville Hospital of Madison. She was preceded in death by her husband James J Johnston. She was known to many as “Grannie.” She was a kind soul to all. Some of her favorite passed times were making her spunky presence known to all in attendance at any sporting event her grandchildren participated. She was their biggest fan! She also enjoyed cross stitching, find-a-words, and shopping. The time she loved above all others was “family time.” Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.
