Biography

Boyd Herman was born on 09 May 1883 in Stephenson County, Illinois, probably in Lancaster Township. He grew up in Lancaster Township.^[1] He married Mable Cora Nath in 1907. They were living in Lancaster Township in 1910^[2] and 1920.^[3]The family had moved to Freeport by 1930.^[4][5]

Boyd died in Rockford, at the home of his daughter Cleone, on 26 Dec 1959 and was buried at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport.^[6]
