She was noted as born 1858 in Georgia as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are male William C Thomas, female Martha L Thomas, female Angeline E Thomas, female Jane J Thomas, male James G Thomas, male George M Thomas and female Era L Thomas.^[1]

Mary E Thomas was enumerated at Nails Creek Post Office, Wilmots District No, 12, Banks County, Georgia for the July 26, United States Census, 1870. She was noted as born 1857-1858 in Georgia and at home as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Wm C Thomas, female Martha L Thomas, male John C Thomas, female Cyntha Thomas and male John Stowe.^[2]

Mary Elizabeth Thomas Stevenson is buried at Nails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Jewelville, Banks County, Georgia.^[3]
