Biography

William Thomas the son of William and Sarah Ann Thomas was born in May 1835 at or about Allington in Kent England.

He immigrated to Australia with his parent and older siblings in 1838 on the Westminster.

William is listed as residing at Log Ridge Dapto, New South Wales according to the Greville Postal Directory of 1872.

William Thomas married Jane Pearson at or about Wollongong in New South Wales, Australia in 1876. They would go on to have at least 15 children before he passed away in 1912.

William Thomas was buried at Marshall Mount in New South Wales, Australia, where his father first worked when arriving in Australia.
