"Dear Sister and family, It gratifies me very mutch to see your potographs but I never expect to see aney of you in this World. I want to give you a little advise riatt here. I want you to hold ought faith ful to the end and ras yor Children up in the nutur and adminition of the lorde." James writes to them about Nancy Martha: "When I am gone I wold like for my Companion to be with you if it were how she cold. I never can discribe the prase she is werthy of for the treatment to ward me, she is redy at every call. Farewell to the day of Judgement when we will strike hands to part no more frever. Amen - James Thomas"
