Biography

John Franklin Thomas was born on April 3, 1857, in Monmouth, Warren County, Illinois.^[1] He was the son of Jacob Thomas, and Sarah (Bauchban) Thomas.^[2]

At age 23, he was living in his parent's home in Riverside, Fremont County, Iowa, in 1880.^[3]

He Married Ida Cathryn Bleakley on September 4, 1884 in Randolph, Fremont County, Iowa.^[4] They had at least 6 children.
