Biography

Charlotte (Thomas) George was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)

Charlotte was born in 1889, the daughter of Nicholas Thomas and Charlotte Williams. [1]

In 1908, Charlotte May Thomas married Ernest Percival George.[2]

GEORGE v GEORGE. Ernest Percival George petitioned the Court for an order for restitution of conjugal rights against Charlotte May George (formerly Thomas). They were married at Brighton, Melbourne, on June 3, 1908, according to the rites of the Methodist Church. Mr. Clive Arnott appeared for the petitioner. His Honour made an order that the respondent return to her husband within 60 days after the service of the order.[3]

GEORGE v GEORGE. Ernest Percival George petitioned for a dissolution of marriage with Charlotte May George (formerly Thomas) on the grounds of desertion by reason of non-compliance with an order of the Court for restitution of conjugal rights. The marriage took place In 1908 at Brighton, Victoria, according to the rites of the Methodist Church. Mr. W. S. Geo (Instructed by Mr. W. H. Woodward) appeared for the petitioner. His Honour granted a decree nisi, returnable in six months. [4]

She passed away in 1953, aged 64.[5]
