Biography

Edith May Thomas (married name Rhodes) was born in 1880 in Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia, the daughter of Ann Harkiss and William Fred Thomas.^[1][2]

She was orphaned at the age of six.^[1]

She married Fred Rhodes in 1908.^[1] Their children were:^[1]

• Frederick Cecil Rhodes (?–1981)
• Mrs. A. Crow

Edith died in November 1954 in Queensland.^[2][1]
