George was born in 1859. He was the son of Elisha Thomas and Sarah Brand. He passed away in 1934.
"George Elisha Thomas (1-4) married Sarepta Annis Mason, daughter of John William Mason, in Taylor County, November 19, 1884. (Rev. D. H. K. Dix). They lived for a time near Kingwood, then near Masontown, next at Hammond in Taylor County, then at Colfax in Marion County, then in Fairmont for a few years, and are now located at Simpson in Taylor County.
