Research Notes
No death or burial record has been found so far. John T. Thomas was still alive as of December 1883 when he executed this Guardianship bond. He would have been about 63 years old in 1883. This bill of sale of his effects gives his death date as Jan 15, 1897. (before that date) [7] Also it appears that he was dead by July of 1896. [8]
