Biography

According to unsourced information, Jemima Thomas was born circa 1730 in Westmoreland County, Virginia.

Jemima married Edward Violet (also Violett or Violette, etc).

She is found in the 1810 census, living in Loudoun County, Virginia. She is listed as "Jemimah Violet" at the top of the census page.

Below her name in the 1810 census is listed Thomas Violet. On the same page are listed several Tripletts. Note that her grandson, Presley Carter married Charlotte Triplett Davis, daughter of Elizabeth Triplett.

Jemima died 15 December 1815 in Loudoun County, Virginia.
