Biography
Descendant of Martin Nowell who was the first Nowell in North Carolina, Bertie County, about 1700, and his gr-grandson Dempsey b.1802 moved to Haywood Co., TN.
George was born in 1870. He is the son of John Thomas and Elizabeth Williams.
