Biography

Caroline is born in 1842 to Calvin Pinkney Thomas and Elizabeth Ann Hallum. In the 1850 Census we find Caroline is living apart from her father and sister shortly after her mother died. She is in the household of her mother's sister Caroline Morris (Hallum) Thomas that is married to her father's brother James Burradell Thomas.^[1] This is nextdoor to her grandparents Morris and Nancy Hallum's home where her father and sister are living. She married Dr. Jonathan Prichard in 1867^[2] and they had 5 children with three surviving into adulthood. She lived to be 101 and died in 1944.^[3]
