Biography

John was born in 1842 and baptised on February 27. He is the son of William Thomas and Mary Blewett. His parent's residence was given as Higher Prospidnick[1].

He arrived with his parents and siblings on the ship Utopia, 947 tons, Captain H.C. Keen, from Liverpool 28th March 1858, and arrived at Port Adelaide, South Australia on the 9th July 1858 [2]
