Elizabeth was born in 1837. She is the daughter of William Thomas and Mary Blewett. Elizabeth, daughter of William Thomas & Mary, was baptised on 3 September 1837 in Sithney, Cornwall, England.[1][2].
In the 1841 census Elizabeth (age 3) was in Sithney, Cornwall, England.[3](See father's profile for household tables)
In the 1851 census Elizabeth (age 14), Tin Mine Girl, was the daughter of William and Mary Thomas on Tolcarne Street, Camborne, Cornwall, England.[4]
She married John Easterbrook in the district of Camborne on July 12, 1857. Her age on this record is given as 19 and her residence as Tolcairn St. Witnesses were Silas Varker (Varcoe?) and John Duckham[5]
She arrived in Port Adelaide, South Australia on the 9th July 1858, on the ship Utopia, 947 tons, Captain H.C. Keen, from Liverpool 28th March 1858, with her husband John. On this record her age was given as 24 but this disagrees with her age at marriage and baptism date. Her parents and siblings were also on this ship[6][7].
It appears that her husband John Easterbrook died in a mining accident in Kadina in 1865[8].
In 1868, she remarried to William Clemens in South Australia [9].
