Research Notes

• Birth record is required. Record is recorded in Vinalhaven, Maine. Find a Grave makes reference to the same birth date, but indicates he was born in Duxbury, Massachussetes and that Seth was the son of Joshua Thomas, Jr & Mary Burgess. His daughter Susan's death record indicates he was born in North Haven, Maine. Vinalhaven may be correct as North Haven was not set off from Vinalhaven until 1846. ^{[1] [5] [6]}
