When Rachel Thomas was born on 13 August 1726, in Williston, Potter, Pennsylvania, United States, her father, Peter Thomas Jr., was 36 and her mother, Elizabeth Goodwin, was 43.

She married William Lewis Trego about 1746. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters.

She died in 1793, at the age of 67.
