Thomas Service is set Saturday
Foreman at Wichita Manufacturing Co., J. O. Thomas, 56, died Thursday in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Born March 20, 1914, in Village Bend, Tex., Thomas had lived in Wichita Falls 28 years and resided at 2221 Broad. He was a member of Southside Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Emma, Wichita Falls; two daughters, Miss Nelda Thomas and Mrs. Lela Barry, both of Wichita Falls; a sister, Mrs. B. J. Criswell, Wichita Falls; two brothers, J. T., Wichita Falls and Grady, Sommerville, N.J. and a grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Southside Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Carl Alcorn, pastor, officating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park under direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will include Dale Estes, Buddy Bills, J. C. Bedford, James Smith, Hoyt Jackson and Tom R. Vickery. Honorary pallbearers will include Arlen Eastes, David Nowiski, Cary Hargrove, Mike Tepfer, Lynn Chadwick and Randy Barry.
