Biography
Ann was born in 1859. She is the daughter of Esmy Thomason and Hannah Newbery. [1]
When Ann's father died intestate in 1869, her brother, William became his "heir at law" and administered his estate. The probate records state that his sister, Ann aged 10, was a cripple. [2]
She married Robert Henry Croudis (abt.1856-1920) in 1879.[3] The children of Annie and Robert were:
- Cecil George Lindhurst Croudis (1881-1944)
- Hilda May (Croudis) Thomson (1882-1918)
- Ashley Bell Croudis (1886-1949)
- Vera Treadwell (Croudis) Green (1896-1967)
She passed away in 1922 [4][5].
