Hello Maryann,

We recently left a message on your profile to check in with the Profile Improvement Project (PIP). Would you like to continue with the Project? If so, please respond to let us know. We would also like to hear from you with any ideas or suggestions.

If we don’t hear from you within 14 days we will remove you from the Project. You're welcome to rejoin the project with a quick Voyage refresher.

Sincerely,

Debi Hoag and Kay Knight, Co-Leaders, Profile Improvement Project

Hello Maryann,

The Profile Improvement Project (PIP) is performing a check-in. The Project operates in a team structure with these participant PIP Teams -- The Category Team, the Unknowns Team, and three Biography Teams. There is also the Voyage Team which guides new Voyagers. See the Profile Improvement Project Teams for a brief outline of each team.

You're currently identified as a member of the Biography Team, working on profiles from your watchlist and other profiles that interest you. The other two Biography Teams work on Abandoned and Popular profiles from the provided lists. Please let us know if you are content with your current Team or would like to change to one of the others.

If you have not already done so, we invite you to join the email GoogleGroup and text chat Discord channel for our project. (You will need your Wiki ID for both). Neither is required; we also use the Profile_Improvement tag in G2G for Project announcements.

We thank you for all you do to help the Profile Improvement Project meet its goals. We would like to hear about the successes you’ve had and would also appreciate any feedback you have to help improve the Project. Please share your thoughts in a reply to this comment or via private message to one of us.

Sincerely,

Debi Hoag and Kay Knight, Co-Leaders, Profile Improvement Project

Hello Maryann,

You have a space page about a source https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:The%20Diaries%20of%20Lady%20Anne%20Clifford which is linked from several profiles such as George Clifford KG (1558-1605), Margaret (Sackville) Tufton (1614-1676) and Thomas Millard Sr. (bef.1649-aft.1714). However, that space page is unlisted. Can you make it public or open so others can see it?

Best wishes, Andrew

Hello Maryann

Thank you for finding the funeral notice for William Sacheverell of Barton in Fabis. This appears to be the second son of William Sacheverell (abt.1554-1617), whose tomb refers to two sons and two daughters. I have transferred the research note to a new profile: William Sacheverell (abt.1590-1639).

Best regards, Stephen

Hi Stephen

Yes, I saw that. I thought it was probably his son but didn't really want to spend time on it then, so I just added in a Research Note. Good on you for providing the evidence!

Happy New Year

Maryann

You have been advised that all your data relating to John is WRONG.

Kindly revise your records.

Hi Paul

To which John are you referring?

Maryann Hurt

Hi Gerrie, you created an unmatched merge between Whitley-2534 and Whitley-697. I found the entry error I made back in 2020. I made John Hartley the husband of Anne Hartley instead of her father. I've corrected that error and I think we can merge those Whitleys now and maybe smooth out the lineage.

Hi Victoria, I think this comment you've posted on my profile is meant for someone else?
I noticed you've been editing some pre-1500 Venables from Cheshire... Any chance I can get you to add the Category:Cheshire, Venables Name Study to those? (I can't myself as I'm not yet pre-1500.) Thanks!

Hi Alan

Sure, I'll do that for you.

There's 38 profiles in that category now. Have fun with your name study.

Dear Maryann,

The Profile Improvement Project (PIP) is performing its first annual check-in with our project members. We are in the process of transitioning to a team structure. There will be three participant PIP Teams to start -- The Maintenance Category Team, the Unknowns Team, and the Biography Team. There is also the Voyage Team who guide new Voyagers. See the Profile Improvement Project Teams for a brief outline of each team. Please let us know which team(s) you would like to participate in.

For those of you who joined the Project before the Voyage started in late 2018, we would like to invite you to consider a "fast track" Voyage, especially if you plan to join the Biography Team. If you’re interested, choose a profile that you have completed to the best of your ability and compare it to the Voyage Biography Standards. If you’re at Level 2 or better, include a link to the profile in your response to this check-in for a “fast track” review.

We would also like to invite you to join the email GoogleGroup and text chat Discord channel for our project. (When you request to join our GoogleGroup, please be sure to include your Wiki ID). You will find more information on the GoogleGroup.

We thank you for all you do to help the Profile Improvement Project and WikiTree. The Project’s mission is to:

Make profiles beautiful! We clean up messy biography sections and sources, and try to set standards for attractive, useful, and well-written biographies, starting with those we manage.

We know you’re working on profiles *smile* We would like to hear about successes you’ve had toward the Project’s goals. We would also appreciate any feedback you might have to help us improve the Project. Please share your thoughts in a reply to this comment or privately via private message to either of us.

Sincerely,

Debi Hoag and Robin Shaules Co-Leaders, Profile Improvement Project

Hi Maryann,

Sorry to hear of your loss :( I'm doing some cleaning up on the St. Barbe line (just went through over a dozen St. Barbe wills this week) and so I just wanted to give you a heads up that I am fixing some cracks. William St. Barbe (St_Barbe-5) needs to be separated from Ursula Ussher as he was the brother of Ursula Walsingham and they were not the same woman. Also his parents need fixing, so I am going to go ahead with that. William who died 1587 was the youngest son of Henry and Eleanor. Ursula Ussher was the daughter of George and Mary and a generation later. She did not marry until 1645.

Hi Maryann,

I have put in a trusted list request for Australia Project's first Parliament space page. Looking forward to seeing you back into the breech soon. David.

Hi Maryann,

We have not heard back from you about the Australia Project, so assume you do not wish to continue in the project at this time.

Thank you so much for your interest in the Australia Project in the past and your contributions to Australia on WikiTree. We hope you will rejoin the project at some stage in the future.

Kind Regards

Margaret Haining Membership Coordinator

Hi Maryann,

On behalf of the Australia Project leadership team, we're carrying out a Project Members Check-in to see if you are still interested in being involved as an active member of the project. In particular, we are ready to launch our new teams for the project. Please could you let me know what team/s you would like to contribute to.

A list of teams is on the Australia Project page. Please respond by private message.

We really appreciate your enthusiasm in working on Australian profiles on WikiTree, and thank you for all the work you have been doing. We look forward to hearing back from you and that you will decide to be part of the project as we move forward with the new teams for the project.

Kind Regards

Margaret Haining Membership Coordinator

Hi Maryann! After a long period of dormancy, we've figured out how to move forward with the Volunteer Coordinators project!

Please visit the project page and let me know if you are still interested in participating with these new changes: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Volunteer_Coordinators

Or if you have any questions.

Thanks! Eowyn

I just looked at the profile of Joseph Beaugh Sr. & there are some errors about the wives - the mix up is of his wives & his son - also named Joseph Beaugh but he is a Jr. & his wives - Sr. had two wives & Jr. had 3 wives -- but not sure that I can correct - I do not want to mess up more then already is - not sure where this information came from or who put it there ???
