He had eleven siblings, namely: John Matthew, William, Joseph, Annie, George, Robert, Elizabeth, Thomas James, Albert, Arthur, and Alfred Herbert. He died on 06 Jun 1964^[2] in Caloundra, Queensland, Australia. When he was 25, he married Mabel Theodosia Christina Mary Logan, daughter of James Wilson Logan Mealing and Mary Ann Yates, on 27 Nov 1907^[3] in, Queensland, Australia.
