Jane Thomson (age 25), daughter of James Thomson & Mary Thomson, married James Lindsay on 8 September 1873 in Carleton, Ontario, Canada.[1]
At the time of the 1901 Canada Census, James, Jane T, Lizzie L, and Jannie M Lindsay were listed as living in Pakenham, Ontario, along with James' mother Lizabeth and a labourer[2]. At the time of the census, Jane's occupation was listed as "Farmer".
Jane Tierney Lindsay died at the age of 88 in Pakenham on February 27, 1937. She was born on March 3, 1848, to James Thompson and Mary Tierney. Jane was widowed and the informant was Miss Jean Lindsay of Pakenham. She was buried in Pakenham on March 3.[3]
